VACATION

So last week Matt and I returned from our little Mexican getaway! We were there for about six days and had an absolute blast! It was really hard being away from Keagan for that long, but he was in very good hands with Grandpa and Grandma Sutton. Here are all of the picture that we took along the way!

Picking up our rental car from Alamo

Our sweet ride for the trip!

The entrance to our hotel

Inside the Hotel lobby

These vines hang from the top floor six stories up and they were beautiful. There were live plants all over the hotel and ponds with fish.

Our bathroom had a bidet and a toilet!

The sunset from our room balcony

Some pics of our room
Tub on the balcony. It was pretty cool, but if you looked too far over you balcony at night, you got a glimpse of a naked old lady lounging in hers!

Our balcony view during the day. Our room overlooked the Lagoon and the ocean was on the opposite side.

Our Hotel Beach

The way the locals get things done!

We loved going to walmart to get our little snacks! Walmart has taken over the world! And thank goodness!

Poolside! I didn't know Matt was taking pictures of me!

Another one of the pools. There were a lot of them but we pretty much stayed at the same one while we were there.

Our hotel from the Lagoon.

We took out a little speedboat on the Lagoon and had lots of fun. The first boat we had broke and would only drive in reverse! Go Grease Lightning!

Our little Cabana!
We all know by now that Matt is a candy addict and we are trying to help him! These little candies at the bottom were so disgusting! They were strawberry flavored licorice covered in spices and sugar! Gross!

This was the little taco stand we stopped at on our way to Tulum

Shrimp tacos!

Matt felt like going a little over the regular speed limit since everyone else was. This is actually only like 85 mph but it still felt really fast in that little car!
The beginning of the Tulum ruins

Tulum

This beach at the ruins was so beautiful and the sand was so soft.

The water was warm but not warm enough for me. And we didn't bring any towels!

There were these Mayan dancers that kept coming out and singing and swinging from this pole. It was kind of weird!

The shops outside the ruins

The city of Tulum, I had no clue that I was walking by myself, thanks Matt!

Our car was a little tight in that spot. I couldn't get in!

Senor Frogs on Play Del Carmen. No there is no alcohol in that. This is just their "Large" cup.

Our table on the beach!

Our giant bowl of salsa. It was really heavy too because it was real stone

Shopping in Playa Del Carmen

We went to a really nice steak house and this was out $10 bottle of water!

We ate outside since it was so nice!

They gave us this cotton candy at the end of dinner. For being such a nice restarunt, it was really weird!

It was so humid that it started to drip!

The ferry to Cozumel that made me so sick!

The water was so choppy that it was hard for people to walk! Not good for us that get motion sickness!

This was for my Dad. We ate at another place that was owned by Senor Frogs called Carlos and Charlie's.
