So I have been slacking the past couple of weeks because of the holidays. We have been pretty busy and it is usually pretty difficult to get things posted with a regular schedule! So where should I start. Oh for my birthday last month, Matt and I went out to dinner earlier in the week and had Grandma and Grandpa Sutton babysit. That was a lot of fun, but tiring when we try to venture out in the middle of the week! Then that Friday Matt took me to this cute bed and breakfast that we have been wanting to go to called the Alaskan Inn up the Ogden Canyon. It was pretty cool and really fun to get away. It was the perfect time to go because it was really snowy up there and just makes it feel more like getting away to a little cabin. All of the rooms are themed and ours was the Eagle's Nest! Here is a picture from their website.
The next day we got together with all of Matt's family and headed to Temple Square to look at Christmas lights. I thought it would be fun for all of us to take the Front Runner down and eat at The Pantry before hand. Matt had to snow plow that afternoon so he was going to meet us there. I packed Keagan and I and headed to the station 20 minutes early so I wouldn't miss it. Matt's family were already on from the Layton station and were waiting for me. Just when I pulled up, I saw the train coming. I tried my hardest to make it but the train left like two minutes early and I could not get my stroller through the snow fast enough! How frustrating. So I waited for Matt and we just drove down and met everyone there. It ended up being a lot of fun. We walked around for a while and left right as it was starting to snow hard.
Shortly after was Christmas but I was terrible and forgot our camera. I will have to steal so pictures from my Mother-in-law later. New Year's snuck up on us so quick. Matt's younger brother left for the MTC on New Year's Eve and it was an emotional day. It was really fun for Matt to see this experience for his brother and remember what is was like for him when he left. Christopher was so excited and ready to go. He will be serving in the Mexico Monterrey Mission and will leave the MTC about March to go to Mexico. That night we all went to my sister-in-law's house and played Rook and watched movies. We bailed at about ten. We were really tired from the excitement from the day!
I almost forgot about the get-together we had after Christopher's farewell. He did a really good job on his talk. I was so proud of him. He is the closest relative I have had to go on a mission. Even though he is my brother-in-law he feels like he is my real brother and I feel so happy for him to be doing this great thing, and I can't wait to see what blessing are in store from it! After his talk I swear everyone that had ever heard of Christopher came over. There was a point that you couldn't even see the living room carpet because all of his friends were sitting on it that there wasn't and inch of room. It was pretty busy for a while but then things calmed down. Later on that night, Keagan decided that he wanted to go out in the garage with the other kids. Too bad he doesn't know how to walk down stairs, only scoot down them. He must have gotten brave and tried and failed. He fell down the cement stairs and landed on his eye I'm guessing. This was the results of the fall!
Well as soon as I get Christmas pictures I'll post them. Have a great new year!

Keagon's poor eye and head! It looks like he has been beat up:)
Oh the fun of having boys!
You summed up a month pretty well. Good thing I was involved in most of these exciting events.
